Jobab (Hebrew: יובב, Yōḇāḇ; "Name means::a desert") was the thirteenth son of son of::Joktan according to Genesis 10:29 .

Jobab gave rise to the Jobaites which Ptolemy mentions as dwelling in south Arabia. Jobab's descendants were known to the Akkadians as the Iabibi. They settled in the town that bore their founder's name, Juhaibab, which, according to Sabaean inscriptions, lay close to what is now Mecca.
