International Space Station
The International Space Station is the most ambitious and largest scientific project ever attempted in the entire history of the world. The stations construction is being led by the United States but draws on the scientific and technological resources of 16 other nations including Canada, Japan, Russia, 11 nations of the European Space Agency and Brazil.
The cost of the ISS is expected to exceed $100 billion.
The construction of the International Space Station was completed in 2005.
